Working the Winter Games in Turin?

If you have been assigned to work in Turin at the Olympic Games, please send the Canadian Media Guild an email at guild@interlog.com with your name, duration of your assignment, and function, and indicate whether you are assigned to work for the host broadcaster. As well, please let us know if you would like to serve as a steward in Turin.

The Guild wants to make sure you are properly represented, including ensuring there are stewards available on-site to those working out of the country during the Games.

Unfortunately, the CBC has refused to give the Guild any information about employees assigned to the Games. Although we have filed a grievance, the issue will not be resolved before our members leave for Turin. The Guild urges you to pass your information on to us directly so that we can make support available in case you need it.

For more information, get in touch with Glenn Gray (glenn@cmg.ca) or Bruce May (bruce@cmg.ca) at 416-591-5333 or 1-800-465-4149.
