Your one-two minute video can win $2,000 or an iPad

Can you talk up the “Union Advantage” in one minute?
You or someone you know might be interested in this Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) video contest. Submit a video on what the Union Advantage means to you and you could win $2,000. You will find details here.
The deadline is January 31.

Have you had a great experience with the Guild? Are you actively involved in the Guild at your workplace?
If yes, why not tell us about it in a one-minute video.  What was your experience?  Why and how did you get involved, and what has the experience meant to you. You could win an iPad all the while helping to combat the constant barrage of attacks on unions.
The deadline is March 30.

The three top videos, as determined by number of “likes” on YouTube (get your friends to like your video), will be posted on our CMG website.  CMG judges will select the final winner who will get an iPad.

Some details:
– Maximum length of video is 2 minutes, minimum is 1 minute.
-You can shoot the video anyway you like, including with an iPhone.  Be as creative as you like, using YouTube-supported file formats
-All members, including members who are actively involved with the Guild in any capacity (elected, committees, special projects) are eligible
– When you are ready to upload the your video on our YouTube site, write jeannedarc@cmg.ca for our coordinates
-The Guild may use your video in some of its presentations

Good Luck!
