We thought it’d be helpful to share this FAQ on teleworking at CBC/Radio-Canada so that everyone – including those who did not attend the townhall – has access to this information.
We have encouraged the CBC to be sensitive to individual needs through this return to in-person process. Members have told us – and we have shared with the corporation – the premium media workers put on maintaining the ability to be able to work from home in some regular schedule.
Fill out our survey on returning to the office at CP by Wednesday, April 6 at noon.

This new telehealth service ‘Dialogue‘ will be available to all our members, including temporary and contract workers, as well as family members, dependents and retirees.
The agency complements well the configuration of journalists across the province. Where large and small media outlets are not present, La PC fills the gap by supplying news.
For example, several daily newspapers of CN2i (formerly Capitales Médias) rely on la PC to cover government activities in the National Assembly and the Canadian Parliament.
We are very glad that the government listened to our request, and the requests of others, to expand the program. This should be a big help for many media workers in temporary, part-time or freelance jobs.
Now let’s hope this leads to structural change to create more full-time jobs and provide stability and employment standards to precarious workers.
