Congratulations to Neil Herland who has been acclaimed as Vice-President for CMG’s CBC Toronto Location Unit, to Jennifer Clibbon, acclaimed as the Location Unit’s Secretary and to Sophie Hautcoeur also acclaimed as SRC Toronto Director.
The CMG Toronto Location will be holding a by-election on April 7 and 8 for four Director positions.

Jérôme Atangana
I am running for the position of Director on the Toronto LEC of the CBC branch of CMG. I have 30 years of experience in TV & Remote Production including 6 years as a Broadcast Technologist in CBC TMS (Studio Maintenance Shop). My experience in both media areas has provided me with a strong sense of the day-to-day issues that our Guild members face. “The main role of a Director is to make sure there is good communication between the Guild members and the union representatives. I look forward to the opportunity to volunteer in the capacity of Director, and would appreciate your vote. Thank You.
Matt Guerin
Matt Guerin has worked as a media librarian in Visual Resources at CBC Toronto since 2004, advocating on behalf of his fellow TV News rotation librarians for several years, now seconded into a senior librarian role managing media at CBC Sports. Guerin’s also a filmmaker, having recently directed and produced his first narrative short film. In 2012 and 2013, Guerin volunteered to produce and curate the CMG Pride Week Short Film Festival, which screened in the Graham Spry Theatre. He’s eager to work hard on behalf of all Toronto CBC workers on the CBC Toronto executive committee for the remainder of this term and would greatly appreciate your support.

Nouveaux V.-P, Secrétaire et Directrice SRC Toronto confirmés – élection pour 4 directeurs les 7 et 8 avril
