Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer Corey Martin reported that the LEC has a bank balance of $15,500. and the next dues cheque is expected in July. The size of that deposit will depend on the amount deducted for releases of members of the LEC and activists on union duty. He also reported that he has now consolidated the outstanding cell `phone contracts and Turbo sticks (used for wireless internet access) to reduce expenses to a minimum. This eliminates costs for `phones, for instances, that were being billed even though they were not used. He’s to look into unaccounted costs for printing done at the Guild office.
