On Thursday, April 24 you\u2019ll have the opportunity to vote in a by-election to fill a vacant Chief Steward position on the Guild executive at CBC Toronto.

\nThe candidates for the position are :<\/strong><\/span>

\n\u2022\u00a0Tony Germin<\/p>\n

The voting by secret, paper ballot will take place in the\u00a0CBC Atrium from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 24<\/strong>. Please ensure that you have identification and your CMG member ID number if you have it. If you\u2019ve never signed a CMG membership application card before, you can do that prior to casting your vote.

\nTo accommodate all members, we will accept mail-in ballots from those who are not on location or wish to vote early. Mail-in ballots must be sent to the CMG national office \u2013 310 Front Street West, #810, Toronto, ON, M5V 3B5 \u2013\u00a0 in a main envelope marked \u201cToronto By-election\u201d and be received at the office by April 24.\u00a0 Please include your name, CMG 9-digit ID. The name of your chosen candidate should be in a sealed unmarked envelope inside the main envelope.<\/p>\n

If you have questions about the by-election, please write to the chair of the Toronto Election Committee, Vladimir Dimitrijevic (vladimird@sympatico.ca<\/a>). The other members of the committee are Ralph Legare and Kenny Delaney<\/p>\n

\nLe jeudi 24 avril, vous aurez l\u2019occasion de voter aux \u00e9lections partielles afin de combler un si\u00e8ge vacant de d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 syndical en chef au sein du conseil ex\u00e9cutif de la Guilde \u00e0 Radio-Canada \u00e0 Toronto.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nLe scrutin secret se d\u00e9roulera de\u00a07 h \u00e0 19 h le 24 avril dans l\u2019Atrium de Radio-Canada<\/strong>. Veuillez apporter un document d\u2019identit\u00e9 et votre num\u00e9ro de membre de la Guilde si vous l\u2019avez. Si vous n\u2019avez pas sign\u00e9 une carte d\u2019adh\u00e9sion de la Guilde, vous pourrez le faire avant de voter.<\/p>\n

Pour accommoder tous les membres, nous accepterons les bulletins de vote envoy\u00e9s par la poste pour les membres qui ne sont pas sur place ou qui souhaitent voter par anticipation. Votre bulletin de vote doit \u00eatre envoy\u00e9 au bureau national de la Guilde\u00a0 \u2013 310, rue Front Ouest, Bureau 810, Toronto, ON, M5V 3B5 –\u00a0 dans une enveloppe principale portant la mention \u00ab \u00c9lection partielle – Radio-Canada Toronto \u00bb et doit parvenir au bureau d\u2019ici le 24 avril.\u00a0 Veuillez indiquer votre nom et votre num\u00e9ro de la Guilde \u00e0 9 chiffres. Le nom du candidat de votre choix devra \u00eatre dans une autre enveloppe ferm\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la premi\u00e8re enveloppe.\u00a0<\/p>\n
