Friday, April 10 marks one year since Hubert Lacroix’s townhall last spring, where he set-out his plan for the implementation of further cuts at CBC\/Radio-Canada — eventually leading to over 1100 positions lost over this past year.<\/p>\n

We’ve experienced 3 years of consecutive Conservative cuts — with CBC\/Radio-Canada now receiving $115-million less in annual public funding than it did 3 years ago.<\/p>\n

Show your support for your CBC co-workers and demonstrate your commitment to your own work. Denounce these cuts and their effects.<\/p>\n

In a show of solidarity, please wear an item of black clothing today, Friday, April 10.<\/p>\n
