On September 29, CMG members at CBC locations across the country wore plaid (along with other patterns) to symbolize our diversity – within our workforce, within the CBC\u2019s many program offerings to Canadian culture, and within the many different languages we offer through our services. Just as plaid is made of a myriad of colours, so does the CBC create a multitude of programming – news, comedy, drama, sports, current affairs, and more – on multi-platforms in English, French, or one of 8 Aboriginal languages. We are the people that weave our stories together, and create a larger tapestry that is Canada.<\/p>\n

Here is a selection of photos of members in Toronto wearing this diversity with pride, showing the country that although we have some threadbare patches, we are doing all we can to keep the fabric of CBC vibrant, and able to go on for many more generations of Canadians:<\/p>\n
