Carmel Smyth has been elected as the Canadian Media Guild\u2019s new CBC Branch vice-president  in the by-election held November 16-17.<\/p>\n

With 228 ballots cast, Carmel obtained 136 votes (59.6%), and Tony received 92 votes (40.4%).<\/p>\n

Carmel is elected to serve as CBC Branch vice-president for the current term which ends in December 2019.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to both candidates and all CMG members who participated in the by-election.<\/p>\n

Carmel Smyth est la nouvelle vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la sous-section Radio-Canada\/CBC de la Guilde canadienne des m\u00e9dias \u00e0 l\u2019issue de l\u2019\u00e9lection partielle tenue du 16 au 17 novembre.<\/p>\n

Parmi les 228 de voix exprim\u00e9es, Carmel a obtenu 136 voix (59,6%), et Tony, 92 voix (40,4%).<\/p>\n

Carmel est \u00e9lue pour \u00eatre la vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la sous-section Radio-Canada\/CBC durant le mandat en cours qui se terminera en d\u00e9cembre 2019.<\/p>\n
