– hold a Temp Caucus meeting later int eh year to brainstorm bargaining issues<\/span><\/p>\n

– washroom renos start this month<\/span><\/p>\n

– new B2 bike parking<\/span><\/p>\n

– office cleaning now daytime hours<\/span><\/p>\n

– BGIS customer service portal coming this summer<\/span><\/p>\n

– air quality review pending<\/span><\/p>\n

– fire warden training ongoing<\/span><\/p>\n

– fire protection issues in Rovi room<\/span><\/p>\n

– CMG H&S training with Olivier – incl. Stewards & HKWL<\/span><\/p>\n

Director of Job Transformation<\/span> (WW)<\/span><\/p>\n

– attended first JE sub-cttee mtg, looking at families of jobs, talked of \u2018respecting the craft\u2019 & future-proofing job-banding<\/span><\/p>\n

– NR has met with IR several times to walk the building & identify locations – mainly blue & purple kitchenettes, waiting for final IR approval after consultation with Jen Madeiros<\/span><\/p>\n

– Hand outs – LEC poster, newsletter (bargaining, May Day, BBQ, etc.), new member mtg invites, swag?<\/span><\/p>\n

– Collect info – name, non-CBC email, temp or perm, dept.\/ job (*create a template form)<\/span><\/p>\n

– Map depts onto a floorplan <\/span><\/p>\n

– ask about shift workers – who isn\u2019t there now? (late shift, wknds, etc)<\/span><\/p>\n

– reach out to stewards for intros on the floor in each dept. (rough schedule?)<\/span><\/p>\n

CBC Board Letter<\/span> (NR)<\/span><\/p>\n

– BEC wrote a letter to the CBC Board of Directors, conversation about how best to publicize it without harming CBC <\/span><\/p>\n

LEC Vacancies<\/span><\/p>\n

– encourage people to apply for Directors of SRC & Education\/ mObilization, nomination deadline March 2<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

LEC Minutes<\/span><\/p>\n

– LEC bylaws stipulate out within 10 days of meeting<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CBC Code of Conduct<\/span><\/p>\n

– CMG lawyer analysis shared with LEC<\/span><\/p>\n

– questions around volunteering, JSP references causing confusion with non-editorial staff, what if someone refuses to consent?, are members being assigned the work time to complete the code?<\/span><\/p>\n
