An online vote will be held from\u00a0Tuesday, August 20 to\u00a0 Wednesday, August 21, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0for members to elect the SRC Director in Toronto.<\/p>\n

The candidates for the position are:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Natasha MacDonald-Dupuis<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Lyne-Fran\u00e7oise Pelletier<\/strong><\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be elected to serve as CMG Director for SRC on the Toronto Location Unit Executive Committee, until the current term ends in December 2020.<\/p>\n

The Director of SRC at CBC\/Radio-Canada in Toronto represents and advances the interests of CMG members working at Radio-Canada in Toronto, and maintains effective communications with them, and the greater membership of the CMG.<\/p>\n

All CMG members in good standing at CBC\/Radio-Canada in Toronto are eligible to vote in the by-election<\/p>\n

In order to vote,\u00a0members will need their 9-digit CMG membership and a password<\/strong>. Your number and password will be sent to you in a CMG email Tuesday Morning.<\/p>\n

Bonjour \u00e0 tous!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour ceux qui me connaissent moins bien, je suis \u00e0 l\u2019emploi de CBC\/Radio-Canada depuis 2015. J\u2019ai d\u00e9but\u00e9 comme reporter pour CBC Halifax, puis pour le T\u00e9l\u00e9journal Acadie. J\u2019ai aussi travaill\u00e9 comme reporter pour CBC North \u00e0 Iqaluit avant d\u2019arriver \u00e0 Radio-Canada Toronto en 2016. J\u2019ai une solide connaissance des enjeux qui touchent divers postes puisque j\u2019ai port\u00e9 plusieurs chapeaux depuis mes d\u00e9buts \u00e0 CBC\/Radio-Canada: r\u00e9alisatrice-associ\u00e9e, reporter g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste, reporter culturelle, reporter affect\u00e9e aux sports, reporter RDI, pupitre web, pupitre radio, r\u00e9alisation de projets sp\u00e9ciaux et documentaires, etc. J\u2019ai aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 surnum\u00e9raire, \u00e0 contrat, et permanente dans les derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, en plus d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 appel\u00e9e \u00e0 effectuer plusieurs autres t\u00e2ches comme le montage vid\u00e9o et le tournage et montage par iPhone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

J\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 m\u2019impliquer dans le syndicat l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier en tant que d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e syndicale en remplacement d\u2019Annie Poulin. Puis, en d\u00e9cembre, j\u2019ai compl\u00e9t\u00e9 la formation de la\u00a0Guilde canadienne des m\u00e9dias. J\u2019ai si\u00e9g\u00e9 sur le comit\u00e9 r\u00e9gional conjoint de la SRC en Ontario, mais aussi sur le comit\u00e9 local conjoint de CBC Toronto. Avant d\u2019arriver \u00e0 CBC\/Radio-Canada, j\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 comme pigiste pour VICE, et en marketing dans le secteur financier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En tant que directrice pour la SRC, je continuerais \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre vos droits. Je suis tenace, efficace et j\u2019ai un bon sens de la communication.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
