We need to ensure that everyone receives the survey.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LC did a straw poll\u00a0 of the members she had emails for and let them know of changes with CERB.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All LEC members to send a \u201chow\u2019s it going?\u201d email out to different areas in the CBC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IC and LC to put together an information sheet on working from home tax reimbursement possibilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Essential service<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joining us from the CMG office: Lauren, Carmel, Ally, Kim, Terri<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Essential services<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Feds and CBC officially declared us an essential service during the pandemic but there are questions over what happens with this designation when the pandemic is over.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CMG urged CBC to move as many people to work remotely, extend sick leave, the AL deadline, cover parking receipts, rent vehicles, and the temp town hall.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A note is coming out from BEC encouraging all employees to take annual leave for a mental break and to free up shifts for temps.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An announcement is going out about the new virtual health system available to all employees regardless of status.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CMG will continue to have discussion with management on what it means to have this designation as it currently stands.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Danger Pay<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Danger pay \u2013 for people in the field and working in the building\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suggest CMG propose additional remuneration (AdRem) for staff who feel they are in danger for a short term that can be renewed as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMG to report back after the next IR meeting on progress.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Work from home T2200s<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMG present: Lauren, Carmel, Ally, Terri<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will CBC issue the T2200 forms to some staff?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IC and LC to form an ad-hoc committee to look into this and report back. Email and keep the CMG posted on what they find out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Update from CMG<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delivered by Carmel.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expanded staff rep list sent out.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complaints between staff should be given straight to a staff rep. The office will assign a separate staff rep to the other person.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CMG Convention is now set for June 10, 2021.
