Passed unanimously.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Adoption of past minutes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; May 12, 2021 &#8211; Lyne moves, Kat seconds, adopted unanimously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joining us after lunch:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBC Branch President\/Staff Reps: Matt Douglas and Terri Monture <\/span>@ 1:00 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Helen Bagshaw for a bystander workshop @ 1:30 pm<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Business<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Convention Review<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBC Toronto sent 19 delegates to the convention.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We ran out of time to get through all resolutions as there were a lot of discussions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vish to send out a report on the resolutions and amendments that were debated and passed to the rest of the LEC so that we can use it to speak with members.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Welcome Back Package<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Return to work may be later than September, slower and phased and depends on telework\/working from home.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMG is looking into CBC use of \u201ctelework\u201d as a way to circumvent the collective agreement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><b>Motion: Naomi moves to spend up to $20k on swag for CMC Toronto members. Krista seconds. Motion carries.<\/b><\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Events committee to look into hoodies and atrium events<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krista, Olena, Naomi, Matt, Wendy and Vish<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Autumn Slow Return to Normal<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event committee will look into a \u201chold the date\u201d for December 2nd once the Pint House opens.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The LEC will look into \u201chold the date\u201d for Thursday, September 9 for an ice cream day.
