Motion carries unanimously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Adoption of past minutes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014 June 18, 2021 \u2014 motion to adopt by Kat, Olena seconds, passes unanimously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carmel Smyth joined us at 10am.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carmel updates from CMG National<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carmel provided updates from the CMG National office.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Truth &amp; Reconciliation Day post is coming from an APTN reporter to be shared with CMG members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CMG National office will be boosting its communication to three times a year.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Business<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Committee Vacancies at LEC<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are possible vacancies on the LJEC, Temp and Election committees.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMG will be reaching out to previous committee members and stewards regarding potential openings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMG Anti-Racism Training<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anti-racism training provided by CMG National is mandatory for all local executive committee members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CMG CBC LEC has signed up to take the training on October 20, 2021.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vaccine Mandate<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the federal government has mandated vaccinations for all federal agencies, it has not mandated this at the CBC at this time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CBC will survey members in October via Google Form and ask vaccination status and to upload vaccine receipts to HR.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loss of (joint) Bystander Training and Local EAPs<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bystander training has been replaced by mandatory new hire training rolling out this fall.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBC is looking into the benefits program and well being supports for employees.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back to Work<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CBC is not at the return to work stage at this time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They are encouraging more people to come back with physical distancing in place.
