CMG LEC will send an email to the membership with details.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">Ice Cream Day: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There will be an ice cream day at the end of July. Date TBD.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Pandemic-span welcome back party for all members:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a BBQ at the end of September. Date TB.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\"><b>Holiday Party<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Will be looking into an in-person holiday party this winter. Date TBD.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">Motion: Naomi moves that the CBC Toronto Local spend up to $15,000 on a pandemic-span welcome back party for all members (including CBC essential &amp; WFH), and 2020-2022 CBC retirees, and invitees this fall. Kat seconds. Motion carries unanimously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2022 Budget<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2022 budget was discussed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Motion: Matt moves that LEC approves the proposed 2022 Toronto CBC budget as drafted in the shared document. Krista seconds. Motion carries unanimously.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chief Steward By-Election<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The by-election deadline has been extended to Tuesday, April 12th.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An email to all members was sent out by the election committee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The results of the extension and next steps will be discussed at the May 5th LEC meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Business<\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LEC Meetings Phase 3<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The group discussed virtual, in-person at CBC, or hybrid meetings when office integration happens.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The LEC will reassess the situation and everyone\u2019s working arrangements in the fall when we start into our fall meetings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Telework<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The group discussed CBC\u2019s implementation of its telework policies and how to best support members through the process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no 3-day limit on sick days if you have symptoms of Covid and are unable to work. You will need to self-assess and self-complete a medical absence report, which will be sent to Disability Management. You are not required to supply a doctor\u2019s note.
