1.\tAdopt Agenda: Moved: Glen Guerin, Seconded: Claryse Boulineau. Carried<\/p>\n
2.\tAdopt Minutes of previous meeting May 1, 2013. No amendments.
\n Moved: Jordanna Lake Seconded: Glen Guerin Carried with two abstentions.<\/p>\n
3.\tTreasurer\u2019s Report: Christina Sorensen presented the 2013 expense report and forecasted budget. Maureen Brosnahan noted that the ice cream day and Halloween expenses were missing. It was agreed the Labour Day Parade expense should be borne by the National office and removed from our budget. It was also agreed that the \u201cwifi sticks\u201d should be reclaimed from Joe and returned to reduce that expense. The Treasurer has agreed to rework the Budget with expenses and revenues on same page and re-present it via email for approval by E-Vote.<\/p>\n
4.\tPresident\u2019s Report: Tony Germin absent. <\/p>\n
5.\tVice Presidents update: Elaine Janes. LJEC update. June 12th is next scheduled meeting.<\/p>\n
6.\tDirectors Reports:
\n\u2022\tCommunications: Glen Guerin. Preparations underway for Pride Film Festival June 24th -29th
\n\u2022\tH&S issues: Glen Guerin. Working with Mike Darley producing posters re moth infestation. Christina Sorensen requested the cost be shared with CBC.

Stewards Reports:
\n\u2022\tNaomi Robinson. Requested Contract Members protection is added to list to go before Negotiation committee.
\n\u2022\tHelen Bagshaw: progressing Marketplace and 5th Estate workload issues.<\/p>\n
New Business:
\n\u2022\tBBQ: Maureen Brosnahan volunteered to prepare comprehensive inventory and shopping list for future BBQ\u2019s.
\n\u2022\tNaomi Robinson noted Local Joint Committee has too many members and requested that the Committee be re-assessed based on elected members from April 3rd 2012. Agreed that this should be taken up next meeting with President. Requested that Minutes reflect that Vladimir and Naomi are prepared to serve on both LJC and PMSD committees.<\/p>\n
Motion: The LEC requests that Tony Germin report to the LEC on the workload issue and how the arrangement of the 2 month releases funded by the LEC was working out and if it meets his needs.

Naomi Robinson requested that this be put on the Agenda for September meeting for a larger discussion.<\/p>\n
Maureen Brosnahan requested clarification to E-Votes rules and Policies. It was agreed that this be put on the Agenda for September.<\/p>\n
Maureen Brosnahan suggested changes to the AGM next year. To be put on September agenda.<\/p>\n
Elaine Janes wants the committee to consider the benefit of using group Gmail addresses for the CMG rather than the current @CMGtoronto accounts. LEC members should report back to Elaine ASAP.<\/p>\n
MOTION: That the LEC contribute $800 to the Staff Association Picnic this year and an additional $100.00 for T-Shirts for the Soccer game for kids organised by Riza Kaya. Moved: Glen Guerin Seconded: Mike Pattison
