We’re now taking applications for The Art of Negotiation course to be held (in English) September 28 to 30, 2007, in Toronto.
This course is open to any Guild member interested in being more effective in any negotiation with management. Participants will learn the basic skills required for negotiating individual contracts, overtime buyouts and additional remuneration contracts. They will learn how to establish their own wants and needs, how to identify what’s realistic and saleable and how to achieve a mutually satisfactory agreement.
The deadline for applications is June 15, 2007. If you are interested, click here to fill out the online application form. Make sure either your location/branch president or vice president submits an endorsement form. Your application will NOT be considered without the endorsement.
