You may be wondering how the 8-week lockout affects your vacation credits for 2005. According to Article 68 of the collective agreement, employees earn annual leave credits each calendar month as long as they worked, or were on an approved paid leave such as vacation or sick leave, at least ten working days in the month.
That means you likely earned full vacation credits for August and October of 2005. If you were on a paid leave for at least ten days in September, you would also receive vacation credits for that month.
