The National Joint Job Evaluation Committee has finalized two documents for use to guide members through the Job Evaluation process: a process document and a referral form.
The process document outlines the procedure to follow, starting at the local level, when the member(s) believes that their job has been improperly classified. If the reclassification issue is not resolved at the local level, it can then be referred to the National Joint Job Evaluation (JE) Committee. Note that the local reclassification process begins by contacting one’s manager, Human Resources or local Union representative.
The referral form supports the referral process to the National JE Committee. It must be filled out by the member(s) and submitted at the time of referral. That form should be submitted to a member of the National Job Evaluation Committee.
