The federal government announced recently that it will make the COVID 19 vaccine mandatory for the federal public service.

The impact and processes related to this are still unclear, but it appears the order may apply to employees at Crown corporations and all those working in federally regulated environments.

The CMG, in concert with our parent union, CWA Canada, as well as other public sector unions and the Canadian Labour Congress, is currently reviewing the available information and pressing for more details, and we will keep you informed as things progress.
