The Canadian Media Guild was mistaken on March 23 when it said that CBC management had agreed that benefits for eligible temporary employees would be retroactive.

Nonetheless, the CMG continues to believe that benefits should be retroactive. We are working to resolve the disagreement with management. In the meantime, if you are eligible for benefits because you have worked longer than 13 consecutive weeks at CBC but have not been added to the plans, please hold on to your medical receipts.
