Bargaining session and Guild membership meeting at APTN

Your Canadian Media Guild bargaining committee will be meeting next week with APTN Management, and our federally appointed conciliators. For the last 7 months, we have been negotiating a renewal of the CMG-APTN News Unit collective agreement.

The bargaining committee and the CMG-APTN Branch Executive will also be holding a General Membership meeting for all Guild members at APTN to provide an update on the news unit negotiations. The bargaining committee will be available to answer all questions. We will also hold a general discussion on the current working conditions at APTN, so all Guild members will have the opportunity to share any concerns they may have.

The meeting will take place Wednesday November 29 from 7 pm to 8 pm in the Terrace Room at the Radisson Winnipeg (288 Portage Ave.).

Members who cannot attend in person, and members outside of Winnipeg, can participate by teleconference. Details on how to call in will follow.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any member of the CMG ? APTN Branch Executive.
