Today, bargaining committees for the Canadian Media Guild and CBC management met in the presence of federal mediators Elizabeth MacPherson and Arnie Powers. The two sides discussed issues related to layoff and recall, as well as employment status. As well, they canvassed the other outstanding issues. At 5:30pm, no articles had been signed off. The negotiations will continue this evening.
