Negotiations to begin December 1 for a new agreement with aptn

Negotiations between aptn and the Members of the aptn Branch of the Canadian Media Guild begin on Wednesday, December 1st 2010 in Winnipeg. Dan Oldfield, the Guild’s Senior Staff Representative, and Guild Staff Rep Rick Warren will be working with our bargaining committee (Bruce Spence, Derek Christianson, Shirley Mclean, and Vincent Proteau) over the coming weeks as we negotiate a single new collective agreement that will replace the two we currently have. Both current agreements expire on April 24, 2011. You can download them by clicking on the links below:

We will update the membership on negotiations as we go. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to talk to one of the members of the committee or write to cmgaptn@gmail.com.
