Vote in the CBC branch by-elections March 17-20

Make sure you have your identification number

This election will be conducted online. The voting website will be available from 9 am (all times Eastern) on Friday March 17 until 8 pm on Monday, March 20. The winners will be announced on March 21.

The two CBC branch elections will be as follows:

Director, Human Rights/Diversity/Equity: all dues-paying Guild members working at CBC may vote in this election.

Director, Temporary Employees: only CBC temporary employees may vote in this election.

Due to the withdrawal of one of the candidates, Bob Sharpe has been elected by acclamation to the position of Director, Atlantic Region.

In order to participate in the vote, you will need your nine-digit CMG identification number. If you have participated in previous Guild votes online or by telephone, you should already have this number. If you have lost it, or you don’t know your ID number, please contact our membership coordinator Elizabeth Northrop via e-mail only at vote@cmg.ca . She will verify your eligibility and send you your identification number.

Please note: you will be able to vote for the TNG/CWA delegate positions at the same time as participate in this by-election.
