Bargaining begins at APTN

Hello Dear CMG member,

As we move into another year with continuing COVID-related challenges, the union continues to work with APTN to ensure your health and safety are a top priority.

Significantly, this month, we begin bargaining our next collective agreement at APTN.  Your CMG bargaining team for these important negotiations includes members Charmaine Straker, Dennis Rondeau and Tom Fennario,  joined by CMG staff rep, Joël Tétreault.

We’d like to thank everyone who filled out the bargaining survey. As always, the bargaining committee will use your input to set priorities at the table, and will be sharing with APTN how members feel and what issues are most pressing, including expectations about flexible work arrangements, salaries and  benefits.

To mark the 20 years of APTN members working within CMG to improve their working conditions, we are offering you a FREE CMG Hoodie.  Please write to info@cmg.ca with subject line “CMG Hoodie”, confirming your mailing address, and size (hoodies are unisex so fit slightly large)

You must have a signed union card to be eligible: https://www.cmg.ca/en/membership-card/

On a personal note, I’d like to thank CMG-APTN president Bruce Spence and his executive team for the personal  time and energy they voluntarily share to improving your life at work. https://www.cmg.ca/en/contact/branch-leadership/aptn/
