The Canadian Media Guild has begun negotiations toward a new collective agreement with Thomson Reuters.

We have met with representatives of the company for a few sessions and will convene again on June 24. The talks are ongoing and we are progressing. We will keep you updated of any significant development.

To those of you who have worked at Thomson Reuters longer, we encourage you to speak to newer colleagues about what bargaining means and why it matters. Encourage them to sign their union membership cards, if they have not done so already, so they can be added to the union mailing list and receive important messages to their non-work email accounts.
