Mark your calendars! 

Bring your family and friends, and join your CMG colleagues on Monday, September 1st at the Labour Day Parade in Toronto – everyone gets into the Ex for free! We’ll also hand out vouchers to use toward food and drinks, on a first-come, first-served basis. 

It’s a fun time and a chance to connect with other union members enjoying a summer day in the city. 

Come wearing a CMG shirt and stay sun-safe with one of our CMG/CWA-branded hats we’ll be handing out. 
 
We will be marching to show our strength and determination as media workers, and to celebrate with our colleagues who fight for fair contracts, quality jobs and strong Canadian media! 

Here are the details:  

When: Arrive at 9 a.m. SHARP, Monday, September 1, 2025 
Where: Meet up on Armoury St between University Avenue and Centre Street (look for the Guild banner) 

Free Admission to the CNE 
Free Vouchers to use towards food and drinks (while supplies last)
