How to participate in the strike vote at TVO

This week, the CMG is holding a strike vote for members at TVO. Your bargaining committee is asking for your support in order to get a fair deal.

The committee will be on hand to provide information and answer questions from members on Wednesday February 20, between 12 noon and 6 pm, in Room 1401 at 2200 Yonge St.

Voting in person:
You will be able to cast a ballot at the information session on Wednesday February 20.

The ballot box will be open again on Friday February 22, from 12 noon to 3 pm at 2180 Yonge on the 4th floor (Paula Todd’s former office).

Voting by phone:
For those who are not able to vote in person, there will also be a phone vote on Thursday February 21 between 9:30 am and 5 pm. To vote by phone, call the CMG national office at 416-591-5333 or 1-800-465-4149 and say that you would like to participate in the TVO strike vote. One CMG staff member will confirm your eligibility to vote and will transfer you to a second staff member to mark and cast your ballot. This preserves the anonymity of your vote.

The results of the vote will be issued soon after the close of voting on Friday.

For more information on the vote, please get in touch with Keith Maskell (keith@cmg.ca) at the national office at 416-591-5333 or 1-800-465-4149.
