We invite Canadian journalists to participate in a survey as part of a scientific study conducted by a team from HEC Montréal and funded by Obvia.
This study explores how generative artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, etc.) is transforming the journalism profession.
Why Participate?
By participating in this study, you contribute to the development of scientific knowledge that members and representatives of your profession can use to:
- Make journalists’ voice heard: Your experiences and perspectives are crucial to understand the ongoing transformations in the media world following the advent of generative AI.
- Maintain working conditions and employment standards in the profession: By providing a comprehensive and objective assessment of how generative AI is transforming journalistic work.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of journalism: By guiding the governing bodies of the profession towards responsible measures, ensuring a high standard of journalism for the future.
- Contribute to the regulation of AI in the media sector (Charter, draft law, code of conduct, etc.)
Desired Participant Profile
All journalists in Canada (all levels of experience).
