CWA/SCA Canada – the CMG’s parent union – is developing a project to increase support for freelancers. We’re looking for someone who will work with us on a contractual basis to help us.

The ideal candidate:

– Has a solid knowledge of freelance media issues in Canada.
– Understands the media industry in Canada: traditional, independent and online
– Is comfortable with surveys and reviewing available data
– Is self-motivated; can work independently to a project deadline

Bilingualism is an asset. It is estimated that this contract will take up to four months to complete.
