Know Your Rights as a Temporary Worker at CBC

Dear CMG member,

Please join us for a VIRTUAL training session focused on your rights as a temporary worker at CBC.

Your will learn what your rights are as a temp worker, how to convert to permanent, what your benefits and pension look like; and there will be a time for questions and answers.

These Guild training sessions via Zoom will be offered to members from across Canada and you are welcome to sign up to any meeting time below:

VIRTUAL ZOOM “Know Your Rights” for Temporary workers at CBC

April 8, 2022– Training in English … 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. ET

April 8, 2022 – Training in French … 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. ET

 A Zoom link will be sent out 24 hours prior to start time.


Use our online form to sign up for the virtual ‘Know Your Rights’ training. This form will also prompt you to submit a release request if you need one.

Release requests normally must be submitted at least 10 working days before the training date, so please send your requests asap!


CMG will be providing $25 for lunch if you choose to order in or take out during the training. Please submit a completed expense form with receipts.


The 10th person to sign up for each training will win a CMG hoodie and there will be prizes of Tim Horton’s gift cards handed out during the training.
