A decision by CBC to centralize local news graphic and design in Winnipeg and standardize the look across the country will affect 11 Guild members.  CBC informed the union that four new positions will be added to the two designer roles already in Winnipeg. In all, there will be a loss of seven designer positions in various locations.

The Guild will be working with all affected members to ensure their rights under our collective agreement are respected.
