Today’s CMG information sessions at the Marriott hotel are CANCELLED. Here’s why:

Last night AAC management called your bargaining committee back to the table to present a new compensation offer. The offer is significantly better than the one received Friday night and the two sides reached agreement in principle on a new collective agreement. Your bargaining committee is unanimously recommending ratification.

Here are some of the highlights of the financial package:

– 3% salary increase, retroactive to January 1/07
– 2.5% increases for each of 2008 and 2009, with another 3% on Jan. 1/10

In addition, your 2007 bonus will be added to your retroactive payment and a final bonus will be paid in 2008.
