Your Bargaining Committee has accepted some dates with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services officer on June 16, 17, July 8 and 9 to continue bargaining with Shaw Media. We continue to be very hopeful that we will get an agreement with the company that recognizes the value of your work and builds some fairness into your pay structures.

We would also like to announce that David Baker, your Acting Vice-President, is going to be taking parental leave beginning May 29 through to December 15. We wish him all the best for his leave with his son. Brent Tennant will be continuing on as your Acting Union President and main contact in the workplace, and we are pleased to announce that Craig Jasman will be stepping up to assist Brent and provide you with union support in the workplace.
